Beach Trip from June

We went to the St. Augustine Beach at the end of June. Though, we sorely missed our beloved Pensacola Beach, or anywhere on the Gulf for that matter, we did enjoy the East coast. Living up to our reputation as beach bums, we spent as much time on the beach as possible. John Paul and Alayna LOVED it! We walked down to the beach the night we arrived and both of them went crazy playing in the sand and getting soaking wet, even though we were all still dressed. Kristen also loved the beach. Not only did she love the water, but she also enjoyed playing in the sand. In fact, we had to keep her from crawling out too deep into the waves. She is one fun-loving baby, with not enough natural fear.
One of the kid's favorite adventres was going to the Alligator Farm. I thought it was kind of gross, but they had a blast. Aunt Lisa spent a good deal of time watching the World Cup, and Adam just played the whole time. He rarely sits still unless it involves food or sleep. My parents helped out a bunch with the kiddos so we got time on the beach just to hang out, and enjoy some yummy beverages. We also celebrated my 29th birthday. You can't get a better birthday than haning out on the beach! Hopefully, we'll be able to return to the calmer warmer Gulf beaches next year.
