You can't see the worms, but Adam and the children were learning that baking soda causes worms to come out of the soil and stuns them. After they are moved to a clean place, they are revived. John Paul is learning that if you don't want to touch the worm, you can simply pick it up with some weed eater wire. Adam is a really good teacher.
