Old Fashioned Parenting

Last night we tuned into John Rosemond, per recommendation of Lisa, and feel like our lives have been changed forever. No, this is not because Adam got a new iphone or crocs, but because we were given permission to ignore all the psycho babble on raising children that has been promoted for the past 40 or so years. Today was day one, and we have already experienced a huge change in John Paul. Its simple, ask your grandma for advice, you simply tell a kid what to do (not ask, threaten, plead, cajole, or offer choices), and expect that they will do it. Its amazing! If they don't do it, then, there is a consequence. Basically, the kid learns the parent is in charge. His site is now added to our recommended sites. We'll let you know if it all falls apart in the future :)
